JOB TITLE & JOB CODE Job Title (Job Code): EN-VR-06: Validation Engineer PURPOSE OF THE JOB He/she performs the Validation activities for part of the train delegated by the TVE during project execution He/she writes prepares the test execution and deliverables. Region / Site / Engineering / Validation team Reports directly to: Hierarchical: Test team leader Other reporting to: Train Validation Engineer Direct reports: None Network & Links Internal Train System Engineer RAMS manager Test Laboratory Manager Test Engineers External Engineering subcontractors, Test laboratories MAIN RESPONSABILITIES Accountable for: Executing tests and providing reports. Responsibilities Executing activities given by the Train Validation Engineer (TVE) Consolidating and Updating the Validation Plan Consolidating the specification of tools and test means (climatic chamber, train, ...) Tools & means procurement (design, purchase, reservation,) Writing Train System test procedures Ensuring the timely issuing of the Validation proves (including proves of lower level systems and components) and consolidates Validation files Providing structured REX to feed costing activities, and to enrich the CV metier technical repository MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES Educational Requirements Mandatory: Engineering school Master of Science (Engineering, Physical Sciences or others) Desirable: Railway engineering Systems engineering Experience Mandatory: Train system knowledge (system analysis, railways): at least 2 years Tests organization capability, knowledge of planning tools Desirable: On field tests execution Competencies & Skills Fluent in english Fluent in italian Required electrical habilitation level (french definitions): B2V - B2V Essai - BE Essais - BR – BC H2V - H2V Essais - HE Essais – HC An agile, inclusive and responsible culture is the foundation of our company where diverse people are offered excellent opportunities to grow, learn and advance in their careers.
