Position Summary We are looking for a Performance & NVH Engineer in Rivoli (TO) location (Italy). The candidate will work in a global context environment, on local and global programs, closely with release teams and other functional groups. Moreover, the candidate will “predict and assess” NVH performances of ePropulsion systems, proactively recognize any possible issues and develop solutions to meet performance objectives and timelines of various programs Main opportunities and challenges: The candidate will bring wealth of knowledge and experience contributing to the development of new methodologies Main Responsibilities The candidate will deal with complex ePropulsion systems performing advanced analyses, gathering and managing inputs from different stakeholder; making NVH evaluations and providing assessments on the whole system; in addition he/she will handle with Lubrication and Efficiency. The candidate will: Work closely with release groups and other functional teams to proactively identify any problems, develop solutions and meet performance targets and timeline program. Follow established procedures and identify future improvements in analyses capability; Support testing & design teams. Job Requirements Education: University master degree Mechanical, Aerospace or equivalent Professional background • 10+ years of relevant experience in NVH simulations is expected. • Automotive sector required, ePropulsion / eDrives preferred. Hard skills Essential: Expert knowledge of NVH finite element methods and MBD Gears, Transmission, Powertrain and Drivelline experience is required. eMotor and Inverter basics. Strong theory and hands on experience in vibration & acoustics domain. Fluent English Plus: Knowledge of specific CAE tools like Romax/MASTA/Excite, Adams, HyperMesh, Nastran/ABAQUS/Ansys, AmeSim and Particleworks. Soft skills Good communication and interpersonal skills, working in global cross functional team. Analytical thinking skills, open mind and team working oriented.
