Design Drafter - Incinerators

The Design drafter position will be based out of Zeeco's Lissone office, in the Incinerators department.The drafter will utilize AutoCAD to create 3D mechanical designs of Thermal Oxidizer packages, Burners, Fuel gas skids, complete with full Bill of Material's (BOMs) as well as piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). The Design Drafter will produce General Arrangement drawings (GA), Overall assembly drawings, Foundation drawings, fabrication drawings and BOM's for all subassemblies. This position requires extensive AutoCAD experience within a mechanical engineering and ability to draft in 3D.Functional Job Duties: Analyses project design documents and mechanical specifications / requirements to draft the appropriate equipment for the application. Utilizes AutoCAD to complete assignments in both 2D and 3D, within required timescales while meeting project and quality requirements. Prepares various 3D and 2D drawings of mechanical parts, assemblies, and products, including various views, sectional profiles, irregular or reverse views, isometrics, hidden lines and details. Assists with reviewing customer feedback. Assists the workshop to assist with design changes as required per the project and to assist shop personnel with production of equipment. Checks own drawings and those of others for accuracy. Support the sales team to develop preliminary drawings.Qualifications B.S. degree/Master Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or 5+ years drafting/design experience using Autocad in a mechanical engineering environmentSkills and Values Must have personal computer skills, in particular using Microsoft Office, Word / Excel / Adobe Must be fluent in English Proficiency in time management and job prioritisation Assertive, confident and self-motivated Works well under pressure Job Posted by ApplicantPro
