To strengthen our Italian team, we are looking for an experienced sales manager based in Milan who can support and strengthen the growth of OneFootball in Italy. This key role will partner with clients and their agencies to increase OneFootball’s advertising solutions knowledge, adoption and to grow the Italian business. We are looking for someone with strong relationships with key stakeholders in the digital advertising space and ideally someone with a knowledge of the Italian sports market, capable of developing a solid pipeline of potential clients and building pitches that answer the clients’ needs, leveraging OneFootball multiple assets to create bespoke solutions. Role Overview The principal responsibility of the Senior Sales Manager is to sell advertising for OneFootball to media agencies and clients. You will be tasked with maximising revenue, whilst creating excellent, long-term agency and client relationships, and ultimately driving new revenue streams. This is a sales position within the Italy Sales team, reporting to the Italy Sales Director. You are expected to work closely with your line manager to develop and implement sales strategy for your client patch. The ideal candidate will have a network of Italian multi-market international clients and agencies and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your Profile Significant and demonstrable experience of advertising sales (5+ years) Experience in dealing with major advertising agencies (big 6 and indies) Milan based The ability to deliver cross-media creative solutions to win advertising business in a highly competitive marketplace Ability to sell media and content solutions Strong analytical skills Bringing in new customers, both through advertising/media agencies and also by influencing direct brands Knowledge of CTV and the Digital advertising market Excellent standard of written and spoken English and Italian for business proposals Outstanding presentation technique Ability to build relationships with decision-makers around a solution/strategic sale Strong leadership characteristics and an ability to bring people on the journey with you A team player, with a positive, can do attitude Fluent Spanish speaker is a plus Strong relationships within the OMG agency and with its respective clients is a plus. Your Role Reaching and exceeding monthly and quarterly targets as agreed with the line manager Developing and owning a sales strategy and business plan for advertising/media agencies and brands in Italy across top 6, independent agencies and direct clients Present and evangelize OneFootball’s media and content offer. Understanding of OneFootball products and their place in the media and sport industry Accurate forecasting with reports to line manager Keeping the pipeline updated through the use of Salesforce Have full responsibility for the entire sales cycle Open new cooperative business pitches to top-level agency contacts Work closely with our Client Services teams and ABS team collaboratively pitch to key clients Understand key market trends and how these can influence our sales approach Maintaining productive and ongoing relationships with all key stakeholders Powered by JazzHR
