Tyco Fire & Security SpA, a division of Johnson Controls in Italy, is currently looking for a: Project Engineer Security in the Milan Area Within this role, reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the engineering, supervision of installation, servicing and a rolling program of preventative maintenance visits, focusing predominantly within Integration Systems. Primary responsibilities: Analysis of Project Specification by defining the design of the Systems Supervision of Installing / Upgrading of Security Integration systems Meet with clients and ensure a 1st class service delivery when on-site Work to deadlines on specific project scheduling and co-ordinating work to aggressive deadlines Ensuring that equipment works to its specification Creating and carrying out test procedures Investigating problems, diagnosing/repairing faults as well as troubleshooting and resolve all engineering problems, which will eliminate unplanned downtime Liaising with the team including installation/project engineers Writing reports and documentation Providing technical support to both internal and external customers #external To be successful in this position you will have/be: Engineering Degree or proven knowledge of Telecommunication or Electronic principles Min 3yrs of security field service and installation background Strong knowledge of network and security systems and exposure to a variety of systems across a range of manufacturers Very strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite and AutoCAD. Good attention to detail in order to ensure that all paperwork is correctly completed and procedures are followed within the allotted timescales An enthusiastic team member who is able to work well under pressure and maintain a professional approach at all times Self-motivated and able to work to deadlines Fluent English and Italian is mandatory Availability to travel in Italy and abroad Full EU driving license Location: Milan, Italy – The work is located in the office but travelling will be required (60% of the time based on the Project delivery phase) Benefits: Company car/van, pension, holiday and overtime & on-call allowance We look forward to receiving your application, please ensure you upload a version of your up to date CV.
