For more details, please visit: The Product Designer is in charge of performing the "system engineering" activities at the heart of Product design. Responsibilities • Capture customer needs and key qualifications, in liaise with Product Architect • Elaborate Product specifications (nominal and degraded modes, function and performances, RAMS, industrial constraints, maintenance, configuration tools & functions) • Design Product architecture (interfaces, functional refinement , functions or Hw & Sw allocation) • Create requirement for Product maintenance and configuration tools & functions • Contribute to the definition & maintenance of delivery baseline, analyses and implement Change Request • Conduct Product performances assessment and simulation • Ensure technical consistency and alignment with other métiers (HW, Sw) throughout the development, provide technical support to V&V, and support Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety Analysis. • As an optional role, manage and monitor supplier in the case of Product developed by an external company on ALSTOM specifications (Component On Specifications) • Contribute to management plans creation, to configuration activities, to requirement management activities (at engineering development scope) & realize traceability on system activities. • Contribute to Product documentation (Datasheet, Installation Manual, User Manual, Maintenance Manual, training kit) • When needed, provide support to Program external stakeholders (Customers, Users and Tenders Alstom is committed to create a diverse & international work environment, that reflects the future of our industry, our clients and end-users.
