Location: based in our offices in Milan, Italy, on a hybrid working schedule. About the Role As a Junior Pricing Analyst for New Cardiology (Interventional Cardiology) EMEA, you will be at the forefront of cultivating a culture of Pricing Excellence. Your role is pivotal in ensuring adherence to our pricing policies and the successful implementation of our pricing strategies. By collaborating closely with various business units, you will evaluate pricing requirements, devise innovative pricing solutions, and disseminate pricing knowledge throughout the organization. Your insights will guide the business in establishing competitive prices that encapsulate the intrinsic value of our products and services, thereby securing a competitive advantage in the market. In this capacity, you will serve as a representative and ally to various departments, fostering initiatives that enhance profitability and ensure the strategic pricing of our existing and newly launched product lines. In this role, you will be responsible for: Pricing Strategy: Collaborating with franchise leaders and Marketing to craft a comprehensive pricing strategy that aligns with our product and service portfolio’s lifecycle stages, from launch to phase-out. Establishing Pricing Schemes and Policies that leverage portfolio synergies for cross-selling and up-selling, while bridging Commercial and Financial goals. Engaging with Country Sales and Marketing teams to pinpoint pricing obstacles, formulate commercial pricing frameworks, and spearhead the execution at the local level. Integrating vital inputs into the overall Value Proposition in partnership with strategic organizational resources like Health Economics & Market Access and HealthCare Solution and Partnership. Deal Design & Tools: Working with local commercial and marketing teams to enhance value creation in key deals through a methodical, data-oriented approach to deal structure. Formulating pricing guidelines reflective of strategic objectives and ensuring their proper application within sales tools such as price books and approval systems. Collaborating with cross-divisional teams to refine pricing tools, thereby equipping management with actionable insights. Reporting & Analytics: Developing and maintaining analytics and dashboards to oversee pricing implementation and performance, highlighting significant trends and focal points. Performing targeted analyses to investigate specific pricing issues. Promoting the use of pricing analytics throughout the division to foster a robust pricing culture. Opportunity Identification & Customer Insights: Analyzing market trends and spearheading initiatives to broaden our market understanding, thereby becoming a pivotal contributor to market scenario and model construction. Enhancing the collection of valuable field data in line with Commercial Excellence practices. Utilizing customer data to uncover insights that drive opportunities and bolster the efficacy of pricing and commercial strategies. Evaluating pricing and commercial opportunities with solid business cases to optimize resource allocation. Execution & Performance Review: Defining and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track pricing effectiveness in line with marketing and commercial strategies. Establishing regular review protocols for dashboards that monitor strategic franchise performance metrics like deal execution, average selling price erosion, and market competitiveness. Improving KPI and performance review processes with country leaders to cultivate and reinforce a culture of Pricing Excellence within the organization. What Are We Looking for in You: Preferred degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Economics. At least 6 months / 1 year of experience, preferably within the healthcare sector. General knowledge and application of technical and business concepts, procedures, and practices. Good organizational and basic project management skills. Process-oriented with strong attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and influence. Flexible and change oriented; willingness to develop new methods, processes, and ways of working and drive the implementation. Analytical and problem-solving skills High level proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Tableau is a plus. High Fluency in English.
