For more information, click here . What you will do The R&D Deployment Manager FemCare is responsible for the innovation pipeline for FemCare with excellence in execution. They will lead the portfolio project execution, working directly with the Region, segment, commercial teams, supply chain, and other functions within R&D. This may include product development, business continuity, compliance, commercial innovation, claims, and demos and other programs. Key Responsibilities • Lead role in R&D for technical problem resolution and project success criteria, demonstrating superior technical knowledge and processes. • Execute the innovation pipeline, working closely with other leaders in the organization, such as supply chain, commercial, packaging, and plants. • Translating consumer data and market insights into accurate technical briefs; Leverage science & technology trends and networks to deliver projects and priorities quickly. • Securing design for manufacturability into all technical briefs • Ensure all processes and activities comply with company policies and applicable external regulations/laws. * Contribute to the definition and oversee technical project development. * Establish project success criteria and monitor progress to deliver against 3YOP. * Embed sustainability into innovation. * Manage local budget allocation and resources. * Manage and mitigate risk, supporting agility and other priorities. • Provide project/program progress reports and status updates to senior management. • Manage a local team of scientists and engineers, empowering agility; talent discussions. * Link technical knowledge to business strategy and leverage external technology. Financial Management • Understand the R&D business model and strategy. • Understand basic revenue models, P/L, and cost projections and make local decisions accordingly. * Deliver local R&D budget targets via forecast and actuals. Technical Skills * Expertise in Engineered products technology and/or materials science * Understanding of technical lab-based and consumer experience-based product test methods * Understanding of processing and scale-up, design for manufacturing. * Possess a thorough understanding of the R&D capabilities and how to develop consumer products. * Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential applications of our brands and products. * Understand the R&D landscape and leverage internal and external insights to shape decisions. Strategic internal/external partnership management * Collaborate with external development partnerships. * Communicate effectively with partners/suppliers to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions. * Set and manage expectations. * Use the knowledge base related to partner capabilities to execute projects. * Continually seek opportunities to increase consumer satisfaction and deepen partner relationships. Leadership * Responsibilities will also include people leadership, performance management, and people development, as well as leading a (project)team of technical functions. What we are looking for Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science or Engineering • 7 years of related experience • Cosmetics, commodities or hygiene products experience is required. • Good technical foundation in engineered products, including for example menstrual hygiene products, baby diapers, incontinence products. • Experience in developing and substantiating claims is required. • Successful track record in translating science mode of action into consumer and health professionals' language. • Process development/process scale-up experience is required. • Experience working with external manufacturing and technical project management is required. • Fluent written and oral English communication skills are required. • People management What's in it for you • Competitive Total Rewards Package* • Learning & Development Opportunities • Employee Resource Groups *Note: Total Rewards at Kenvue include salary, bonus (if applicable) and benefits.
