CMCC Position - 12578 Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships at CMCC Deadline: June 03rd, 2024 WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Under the framework of Horizon Europe Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions, CMCC is taking into consideration to support individual experienced researchers in order to develop training-through-research proposals with reference to the Call MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024 (HORIZON-MSCA-2024-PF-01-01) . The job location is CMCC. Headquarters or Site to be defined. ABOUT US The CMCC Foundation is a scientific research center on climate change and its interactions with the environment, society, the world of business, and policymakers. Our work aims to stimulate sustainable growth, protect the environment, and develop strategies for the adaptation and mitigation of climate change. Fondazione CMCC has long-standing experience in the successful coordination of European Research Programmes, including H2020 (122 awarded, 14 coordinated), HEU (77 awarded), ERC and FP7 (37 awarded) projects. CMCC research activities are distributed among 3 Institutes and 11 research divisions that share different knowledge and skills in the field of climate science: 1) Institute for Climate Resilience – ICR 2) European Institute on Economics and the Environment – EIEE 3) Institute for the Earth System Prediction – IESP Education Programs are a significant part of the wide range of activities carried out by CMCC. CMCC Graduate Programs, as well as Summer Schools and Winter Schools, have earned an outstanding reputation over time within the climate change scientific community, thanks to the high level and international breadth of their offering and to partnerships with European universities, international institutions, and world-famous experts participating as professors and guest speakers. To learn more about this opportunity and submit your application, please refer to the following: REQUIREMENTS MSCA Post-doctoral Fellowships are open to researchers meeting the following criteria: Candidates must have a doctoral degree and no more than 8 years of full-time equivalent research experience, measured from the date of the award of the (first) doctoral degree; Eligible researchers can be of any nationality and must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Italy for more than 12 months over the last 3 years prior to the call deadline (11/09/2024). Proposals involving the same researcher and recruiting organisation submitted to the previous call of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships under Horizon Europe and having received a score of less than 70% must not be resubmitted the following year. The selected candidates will be supported by CMCC in the development of the project proposals that must be submitted to the European Commission by September, 11th, 2024 – h. 17.00 CET. DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS MSCA-PF European Fellowships support experienced researchers for a full time period between 12 and 24 months. European financial contribution for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Post-doctoral Fellowship is a flat-rate for the entire period of the project (see MSCA work programme for more details).
