For more information about this opportunity and to submit your application, please refer to the following: LOCATION: Lecce DEPARTMENT: Administration, Finance and Control ROLE The role of the selected candidates will be to actively collaborate with the team to ensure effective and transparent management of funded projects. They will be responsible for the preparation, monitoring, and financial reporting of assigned projects. RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with the team to prepare periodic financial reports for funded projects. Assist in the development of budgets and monitoring of project expenditures. Contribute to the collection and analysis of financial data to ensure compliance with funder guidelines. Support the management of documents and the preparation of materials for presentations. Actively participate in the planning and implementation of financial reporting strategies. REQUIREMENTS For the Senior Specialist role: Degree in Economics, Finance, or related field. A master's degree or postgraduate training in project management, finance, or similar may be preferable. Proven experience in financial reporting and management of funded projects. Familiarity with the procedures and regulations of funding bodies (e.g., EU regulations for structural funds, etc.). Ability to interpret complex financial guidelines and apply them correctly. Skill in identifying and resolving issues related to financial management of projects. Proficiency in using specific software for financial management and reporting (e.g., SAP). Excellent command of English (written and spoken), essential for managing international projects and required documentation. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team. Attention to detail and precision, essential for accurate financial reporting. Ability to manage tight deadlines and work under pressure. For the Specialist role: Degree in Economics, Finance, or related field. At least 3 years of work experience in financial reporting and management of funded projects. In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting practices. Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in computer tools, particularly Excel. Good knowledge of SAP management system. Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
